Sorry for the huge gap in posts. I've been swamped with intern applications, schoolwork, and trying to rework this blog. I've decided to make a new one, and tailor it more to my blogging desires.

Thanks so much!

Shock Me Like an Electric Eel

This past FW one of my FAVORITE trends has been neon! While I may not be as brave to actually try this trend just yet, I definitley admire the pop of color on the runways.

R.I.P Lipstick Jungle

One of my favorite shows, (a big reason in part thanks to Robert Buckley), Lipstick Jungle, has officially been cancelled, according to EW.com

The rumor of cancellation had been thrown around for quite some time now, especially since the show was moved to Fridays, which is never a good sign to begin with. Not only did I LOVE LOVE LOVE the show because of the aforementioned Robert Buckley, (yes I will at least say his name three times in this post), but Lindsay Price, Kim Raver, and Brooke Shields, were always immaculately put together. Whether it was their bags, shoes, or outfits as a whole, I could never wait until the next episode, where I was able to see what the ladies were wearing.

In light of this horrible, horrible news, I will dedicate this post to the fashions of Lipstick Jungle (hey, this is a fashion blog after all.)

Oh and p.s. Robert Buckley. (Told you I'd say it at least three times) You're Welcome.

xx,
lindsay

From Runway to Real Life...

At the premiere of "Monsters vs. Aliens" on March 22, in Universal City California, Reese Witherspoon chose a piece from Rodarte's Fall 09' collection.

Rodarte's edgy, almost chic grunge look, was masked by Reese's blonde locks, angelic face, oh and a smile of course.

CAUGHT!

While searching desperately for a new pair of black leather boots (that I will live in, just like my other pair), I came across a close doppleganger of YSL's 2007 Tribute Suede Heel on ALDOSHOES.COM

Aldo cleverly named their shoe (pun intended), "Clever." You can grab these on sale for $69.98, at Aldo's website, (close to $600 less than YSL's) and for a limited time enjoy free shipping.

One of my all time style icons Carine Roitfeld was featured on an hour long special CNN at 4:30 AM, a time I have not seen since midterm season. If you missed it however, you can catch it Saturday, or a good portion of it online. Here's a preview:

party like its 1999

Went out last night with the boyf. & some friends. The bar was out of Jack Daniels.
Needless to say I was left with Kentucky Whiskey....blech.
I've been finding I have been dressing down so much more recently
when I go out. Last night was black skinny Levi's jeans, Vintage black
leather boots, a blousey Forever21 top, and my vintage black Ferragamo bag.
And of course I paired the outfit with my drunken face. (See Below)

Tonight I am going to PowerPlant in downtown Baltimore, which has fancier
bars and clubs, then the ones by my school. I am thinking about dressing it
up a tad, but not over doing it. Gold American Apparel Lame skirt,
American Apparel black leotard, HUE black tights, and my Jessica Simpson
ankle booties, are in the lead for tonights outfit. If I'm feeling really crazy,
maybe I'll throw on a black blazer too? =)

I'll post back with pics tonight or tomorrow!
